1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the AUSTTAA website and services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

2. Membership Terms

Membership in AUSTTAA is available to all graduates of Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology's Textile Department. By becoming a member, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information during registration
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
• Respect the rights and dignity of other members
• Pay membership fees as outlined in the constitution (BDT 1,000 annually or BDT 30,000 lifetime)

3. Services and Events

AUSTTAA provides various services including networking events, professional development programs, seminars, workshops, and community initiatives. Membership activation and event access are provided within 3-5 business days of registration or payment. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any service at any time with reasonable notice to members.

4. Payment Terms

Membership fees and event registration fees are processed securely through SSLCOMMERZ. Annual membership is BDT 1,000 per year, and lifetime membership is BDT 30,000 (one-time payment). Event fees vary by event. All payments are subject to our refund policy as outlined in a separate document. By making a payment, you acknowledge that AUSTTAA is a non-profit alumni association and fees are used for organizational activities and member services.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the AUSTTAA website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of AUSTTAA or its content suppliers and is protected by international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written permission.

6. User Conduct

You agree not to use our services to:

• Violate any laws or regulations
• Infringe on the rights of others
• Transmit harmful or malicious content
• Engage in fraudulent activities
• Harass, abuse, or harm other members
• Impersonate any person or entity

7. Limitation of Liability

AUSTTAA shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service in question.

8. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We are committed to protecting your personal information and complying with applicable data protection laws.

9. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Bangladesh. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dhaka, Bangladesh. AUSTTAA operates under its constitution as a registered alumni association.
